Lumpur, Wednesday :- Khairil Zainal (34 years) will not be
watching this weekend’s F1 race on television as he and
thousands of other F1 fanatics will be watching the race right
from the grandstand.
“This year, I will be going to Sepang to watch the race live. I
did not expect the slogan I sent through the PLUS: The Winning
Formula contest would take me to Sepang and watch the F1 action
live,” said Khairil of Gombak who participated in the contest
for the first time.
Khairil is one of the 25 PLUS highway customers have just won
themselves two grandstand tickets each to this weekend’s F1 race
at the Sepang Circuit. In a prize giving ceremony held at the
PLUS Headquarters today, the winners also received parking
passes and exclusive PLUS merchandise.
PLUS Expressways Berhad Managing Director, Noorizah Hj Abd Hamid
gave away the tickets to the winners. According to Noorizah,
“Almost 9,000 entries were submitted during the two-week contest
from 27 February until 12 March which was held on the PLUS
website at www.plus.com.my, but only 500 participants managed to
give the correct answers to all questions. 25 entries with the
best and most creative slogans were selected as winners for this
year’s contest.”
“Contests and programs such as this are held from time to time
where PLUS highway users can not only enjoy safe and convenient
travel, but stand a chance to receive special rewards for their
support and loyalty,” Noorizah said.
The “PLUS: The Winning Formula” contest is part of
PLUS continuous effort to reward our customers for their support
and co-operation.
