PLUS ADVISES HIGHWAY TRAVELLING SCHEDULE DURING MERDEKA HOLIDAYS

Kuala Lumpur, Wednesday:- Those planning to use the highway during this weekend’s long Merdeka holidays are advised to follow the PLUS Travel Time Advisory (TTA).

According to PLUS Expressways Berhad (PLUS) Corporate Communications General Manager, Khalilah Dato’ Mohd Talha, “To ensure smoother and safer highway travel this Merdeka holidays, PLUS has prepared the TTA for those in the Klang Valley heading up north and down south on Friday and Saturday as well as for their journey back to the Klang Valley next Monday.”
(Please refer to the attached schedule for details)

The PLUS TTA was first introduced during last year’s Merdeka holidays with the co-operation of the Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA) and the Police. Since its implementation, PLUS has received positive feedback from the public as the TTA has helped to reduce traffic congestion on the highway during peak periods.

“PLUS Expressways is proactive and committed to helping users travel more safely, comfortably and effectively, especially during peak periods,” said Khalilah.

The TTA is a travel schedule on the NSE to mitigate traffic congestions on the highway by staggering the travel times of highway users to their respective end destinations.
