Kuala
Lumpur, Thursday:- PLUS Expressways Berhad today launched
its new corporate logo to reflect a renewed sense of commitment
and dimension to its services after 20 years of operation.
The new PLUS logo was officially unveiled by the Minister of
Works, YB Dato’ Ir Mohd Zin Mohamed in conjunction with the
Company’s Hari Raya Open House at the Subang Sheraton Hotel,
today.
PLUS has evolved from being merely an operator of the
North-South Expressway (NSE) to a more diversified company,
although still within the scope of highway maintenance and
operations. PLUS Expressways now operates the ELITE and Linkedua
expressways, the New Klang Valley Expressway, the Federal
Highway Route 2, the Seremban-Port Dickson highway and the Kulim-Butterworth
Expressway. PLUS is also actively seeking projects and building
new highways in India and Indonesia.
Explaining the new logo rationale, PLUS Chairman, YBhg Tan Sri
Dato’ Mohd Sheriff Mohd Kassim said, “The new PLUS logo
maintains green as the corporate color which signifies its
services and commitment to continuously explore and venture into
new businesses in the country and overseas. Blue reflects the
Company’s membership with the UEM Group. The PLUS name is
retained to signify an organization committed to customer needs
and expectation.”
PLUS is synonymous with the longest highway in Peninsular
Malaysia. It is the contributing factor for the Nation’s
economical and social growth through providing faster and more
convenient travel from the north to the south of the peninsular.
“With the new image, PLUS will emerge as a more dynamic,
progressive and competitive business entity in providing the
best expressway services not only in Malaysia but also in the
Asian region and the world,” he added.
