Emergency telephones Usage


The emergency telephones are available at every 2 kilometers interval on either side of the Expressways. These bright colored telephones allows PLUS to trace the callers location automatically as soon as they are activated. Walk to the nearest one in case of emergency or breakdown. Do NOT cross the highway. These telephones are connected to the nearest Regional Communications Centre (RCC). Use the Emergency Telephone to request assistance from the highway Control Centre.

To use the emergency telephone

1. Push down the LEVER and let go.

2. WAIT for PLUS staf

3. Speak clearly when the communication is established.

4. Follow the instructions given by the Control Centre personnel.





Otherwise you could call PLUSLINE at 1800 88 000 to assist you from any normal telephone or cell phone.PLUSLine emergency call operates 24-hour a day. Calling using this line will connect you directly to the PLUS’ Traffic Control Center at the PLUS headquarters.
