RELOAD LANES AT PLUS TOLL PLAZAS WILL BE CLOSED TO FACILITATE SMOOTHER TRAFFIC FLOW DURING CHINESE NEW YEAR 2020 FESTIVE SEASON

To facilitate a smoother traffic flow during the upcoming Chinese New Year 2020 celebrations, all toll plaza reload facilities on the entry lanes on PLUS-operated highways will be closed to customers from 22 January until 3 February 2020. This initiative is aimed to reduce the traffic congestion due to the long queue at reload lanes at the toll plazas.

To ensure a more comfortable journey, PLUS advises customers to plan their journey ahead and most importantly to reload their Touch ‘n Go card before starting their journey and make sure their card has sufficient balance.

During this festive season, PLUS is expecting a total of 2 million vehicles to utilize the PLUS highway especially on the peak periods which are on January 22, 23, 24, 27, 28 and 31 and February 1.

As such, traffic flow at major toll plazas will be hugely disrupted if highway customers fail to make sure they have sufficient balance in their Touch ‘n Go cards and they are unable to carry out their toll transaction. This will also affect the comfort and movement of other highway customers at the toll plaza.

PLUS would also like to remind that no Touch ‘n Go card reload service is provided at the exit lane at its toll plazas. However, highway customers can still top-up their cards at 11,000 reload centres throughout the country and among them are the Touch ‘n Go Spots which are located at 34 selected petrol stations along the PLUS highway and also Self-Service Kiosks which located at 67 locations at selected rest and service areas, lay-bys and toll plazas.

Additionally, PLUSMiles and Touch ‘n Go reload services is also available at PLUS customer service centres at selected toll plazas.
