COVID-19 : SUFFICIENT TOUCH ‘N GO CARD BALANCE ENSURES SOCIAL DISTANCING IS OBSERVED AT PENANG BRIDGE TOLL PLAZA

PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) advises Penangites to continue to remain at home as the Movement Control Order (MCO) is being implemented and to only travel unless it is necessary to do so to help flatten the Covid-19 outbreak. Should they need to travel and use the Penang Bridge, highway customers are strongly reminded to ensure that they have enough balance in their Touch ‘n Go card as any transaction with Customer Service Assistant for top-up is prohibited throughout the MCO to prevent the Covid-19 virus infection.

“We urge highway customers to always ensure that they have sufficient balance in their Touch ‘n Go card. For easier reload, they may do so at numerous top-up zones such as bank ATM machines, convenience stores and petrol stations which are conveniently located around the Island and the Mainland. Self-service kiosks are also available at various points along the PLUS highway,” said PLUS Chief Operating Officer, Zakaria Ahmad Zabidi.

PLUS understands the hassle of topping-up at other locations other than the toll plaza. Nevertheless, the move to halt the reload service at the toll lane throughout the MCO is made to minimize the risk of spreading the Covid-19 virus to its customers and Customer Service Assistants.

“Above all, the best move to curb the spread Covid-19 are to stay home and practise social distancing. By ensuring your Touch ‘n Go card has sufficient balance for toll transactions, eliminates the need to physically interact with our Customer Service Assistant and at the same time, ensure social distancing is observed,” Zakaria said.

COVOD-19 : PLUS NASIHAT PEMANDU JAMBATAN PULAU PINANG PASTIKAN BAKI KAD TOUCH ‘N GO MENCUKUPI UNTUK PATUHI PENJARAKKAN SOSIAL

PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) menasihatkan agar penduduk Pulau Pinang untuk terus berada di rumah sepanjang tempoh Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) dan hanya membuat perjalanan sekiranya benar-benar perlu bagi membendung penularan wabak Covid-19. Sekiranya mereka perlu melakukan perjalanan, pelanggan lebuhraya dinasihatkan supaya memastikan mereka mempunyai baki kad Touch ‘n Go yang mencukupi kerana sebarang transaksi tambah nilai menerusi Pembantu Khidmat Pelanggan tidak lagi dibenarkan sepanjang tempoh pelaksanaan PKP ini bagi mengelakkan jangkitan Covid-19.

“Kami menggesa pelanggan lebuhraya supaya sentiasa memastikan mereka mempunyai baki kad Touch ‘n Go yang mencukupi.
