PLUS MALAYSIA IS CERTIFIED WITH INTERNATIONAL ANTI-BRIBERY STANDARD

 PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) recieved the internationally recognized ISO37001 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) standard certification recently.  This comes just five months after the taking an Anti-bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) pledge in the presence of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) during its Integrity Day ceremony in February.

“I am truly delighted that even during this pandemic, PLUS accelerated the adoption of new ways of working by leveraging on technology to engage our staff, business partners and the public on the importance of upholding integrity. The certification reinforces PLUS’ zero-tolerance position against all forms of bribery and corruption. Our tagline of #pilihintegrititiadatoleransi affirms our belief that there are no compromises when it comes to integrity,” stressed Datuk Azman Ismail, Managing Director of PLUS.

“This certification bears testament to the tremendous effort made towards driving the ABAC culture and mindset to each and every Warga PLUS and demonstrates our commitment and readiness for corporate liability requirement in the Section 17(A) of the MACC Act” said Mr Satpal Singh, Chief Governance and Risk Officer of PLUS 

The certification was obtained following extensive audits conducted by SIRIM QAS International, an independent certification body which concluded that PLUS has institutionalised robust and effective processes and practices to prevent, detect and respond to bribery in line with anti-bribery laws.

Leading up to the certification, PLUS had also launched an independent whistleblowing channel on its website, where the public can report real or suspected cases of improper conduct PLUS without fear of retaliation or reprisal.  “All reports are highly confidential, and action will be taken to those who do not comply with PLUS’ ABAC Principles” added Mr Satpal.

PLUS MALAYSIA MENERIMA PENGIKTIRAFAN PENGURUSAN ANTI RASUAH DI PERINGKAT ANTARABANGSA 

PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) menerima pengiktirafan di peringkat antarabangsa dengan pensijilan ISO 37001:2016 bagi Sistem Pengurusan Anti Rasuah (ABMS) baru – baru ini. Pengiktirafan ini diterima selepas lima bulan komitmen ikrar Anti Rasuah dan Korupsi (ABAC) di hadapan Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) semasa berlangsungnya Hari Integriti PLUS pada Februari lalu. 

“Saya berasa amat berbangga kerana semasa berlakunya wabak Covid-19 ini, PLUS berupaya untuk mempercepat mengadaptasi cara kerja baharu dengan memanfaatkan penggunaan teknologi untuk menghubungkan kakitangan, rakan niaga dan masyarakat terhadap kepentingan menegakkan integriti. Pengiktirafan tersebut mengukuhkan lagi tahap kedudukan sikap sifar toleransi PLUS terhadap semua bentuk rasuah dan korupsi. Slogan #pilihintegrititiadatoleransi yang kami terapkan menegaskan kepercayaan kami bahawa tiada kompromi terhadap perihal integriti,” tegas Datuk Azman Ismail, Pengarah Urusan PLUS. 

“Pensijilan ini membuktikan hasil usaha yang luar biasa PLUS dalam usaha mendorong ke arah pemikiran budaya ABAC di antara golongan Warga PLUS dan menunjukkan komitmen dan kesediaan kami terhadap keperluan tanggungjawab korporat dalam Seksyen 17 (A) Akta SPRM,” kata Satpal Singh, Ketua Pegawai Governans dan Risiko PLUS. 

Pensijilan tersebut diperolehi setelah pemeriksaan audit secara teliti dan mendalam yang dilakukan oleh pihak SIRIM QAS International, sebuah badan pensijilan bebas yang telah membuat kesimpulan bahawa PLUS telah menunjukkan proses dan praktik yang berkesan untuk mengelak, mengesan dan bertindak balas terhadap gejala rasuah selaras dengan undang-undang anti rasuah. 

Sebelum penerimaan pengiktirafan tersebut, PLUS telah melancarkan saluran pemberian maklumat di lawan web rasminya, yang membolehkan orang ramai untuk melaporkan kes yang disyaki berkenaan dengan perlakuan tidak wajar PLUS tanpa perlu rasa takut dan risau terhadap sebarang tindakan balas. “Semua laporan yang diterima adalah sulit dan tindakan akan diambil kepada mereka yang tidak mematuhi Prinsip ABAC PLUS,” tambah Satpal.
