BUKIT GANTANG LAY-BY (SOUTHBOUND) TO BE UPGRADED FOR ENHANCED COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE
Ipoh, 27 February 2026:– PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) wishes to inform that the Bukit Gantang Lay-by (Southbound) at KM225 of the North-South Expressway (NSE) will undergo upgrading works aimed at enhancing comfort and convenience for PLUS highway users. The rest area will be upgraded with a refreshed building design incorporating sustainable and green features.
TEMPORARY DIVERSION FOR HEAVY AND WIDE VEHICLES AT KEMPAS TOLL PLAZA (SOUTHBOUND) FOR PAVEMENT UPGRADING WORKS
Petaling Jaya, 26 February 2026:- As part of the continuous effort to provide a more comfortable experience for highway users PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) will carry out pavement rehabilitation works at Kempas Toll Plaza (Southbound), KM7.80 on the NorthSouth Expressway.
EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE WORKS AT PUTRA HEIGHTS – BANDAR SAUJANA PUTRA, ELITE HIGHWAY – Right lane and middle lane at KM14.1 – KM14.8 closed – Smart Lane activated
Petaling Jaya, 23 February 2026 – PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) wishes to inform that the right lane and middle lane along the Putra Heights to Bandar Saujana Putra stretch at KM14.1 to KM14.8 on the North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE) has been temporarily closed to facilitate emergency maintenance works at the location.
ACTIVATION OF CONTRA FLOW BETWEEN PUTRAJAYA – BANDAR SAUJANA PUTRA, KM19.5-KM18.0 AND BANDAR SAUJANA PUTRA – PUTRAJAYA, KM18.0-KM19.5 ON THE ELITE HIGHWAY FOR BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION WORKS
Petaling Jaya, 10 February 2026:- PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) wishes to inform that a contra flow will be activated between Putrajaya and Bandar Saujana Putra, KM19.5 to KM18.0 on 10 February to 11 February 2026 from 11.00 pm to 5.00 am and between Bandar Saujana to Putrajaya, KM18.0 to KM19.5 on 11 February to 12 February 2026 from 11.00 pm to 5.00 am on the North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE) for bridge construction works by the
appointed contractor.
PLUS GEARS UP FOR 2.2 MILLION VEHICLES THIS CHINESE NEW YEAR
Petaling Jaya, 9 February 2026:- PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) anticipates an increase in traffic up to 2.2 million vehicles daily during peak days across the highway network in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year. This is an increase of 16 percent compared to daily traffic volumes on the PLUS-operated highways. The projected peak days on the PLUS highway network are 12, 13 and 14 of February 2026 for travel outside of the Klang Valley, and 20, 21 and 22 February 2026 for the return journey to the Klang Valley.
USE MYPLUS-TTA TO PLAN FESTIVE HIGHWAY TRAVEL TO USHER IN CHINESE NEW YEAR AND RAMADAN
Petaling Jaya, 6 February 2026:– In conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations, which coincides with the commencement of the month of Ramadan, PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) anticipates a significant increase in traffic volumes along several major stretches across its PLUS-operated highways, including the Lebuhraya Pantai Timur 2 (LPT2).
