PLUS GEARS UP FOR 2.2 MILLION VEHICLES THIS CHINESE NEW YEAR
Petaling Jaya, 9 February 2026:- PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) anticipates an increase in traffic up to 2.2 million vehicles daily during peak days across the highway network in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year. This is an increase of 16 percent compared to daily traffic volumes on the PLUS-operated highways. The projected peak days on the PLUS highway network are 12, 13 and 14 of February 2026 for travel outside of the Klang Valley, and 20, 21 and 22 February 2026 for the return journey to the Klang Valley.
USE MYPLUS-TTA TO PLAN FESTIVE HIGHWAY TRAVEL TO USHER IN CHINESE NEW YEAR AND RAMADAN
Petaling Jaya, 6 February 2026:– In conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations, which coincides with the commencement of the month of Ramadan, PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) anticipates a significant increase in traffic volumes along several major stretches across its PLUS-operated highways, including the Lebuhraya Pantai Timur 2 (LPT2).
TRAFFIC DIVERSION FOR BEAM INSTALLATION WORKS AT THE JOHOR LANE WIDENING CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ON THE NORTH-SOUTH EXPRESSWAY FROM YONG PENG (NORTH) TO SENAI (NORTH)
Petaling Jaya, 6th February 2026:- The construction of the additional lanes on the North-South Expressway from Yong Peng (North) to Senai (North) is actively progressing as part of efforts to provide more comfort and convenience for highway users in the future. The widening works also involve several bridges crossing the highway mainline along the Kulai–Sedenak stretch.
MAINTENANCE WORKS ON OVERHEAD ELECTRICAL LINES ALONG THE STRETCH BETWEEN SUNGAI BUAYA AND RAWANG CROSSING PLUS HIGHWAY AT KM443.2 (SOUTH BOUND)
Petaling Jaya, 20 January 2026:- PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) wishes to inform the maintenance works on overhead electrical lines will be carried out along the stretch between Sungai Buaya and Rawang Interchange at KM443.2 (Southbound) crossing the North-South Expressway (NSE) on 21 January (Wednesday) to 23 January 2026 (Friday), from 10.00am to 4.00pm daily throughout the period by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).

LANE FREEDOM BEGINS: PLUS PIONEERS MALAYSIA’S FIRST ANPR TOLLING PILOT IN HUTAN KAMPUNG-SUNGAI DUA
Petaling Jaya, 9 January 2026: Highway users on the North-South Expressway (NSE) will now be able to enjoy “lane freedom” through the Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) open payment tolling, as PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) introduces its pilot project for private vehicles along the Hutan Kampung–Sungai Dua stretch. The initiative marks an important milestone towards the future implementation of Multi Lane Fast Flow (MLFF) in Malaysia.
