Sustainability
We are committed to conduct our business and operations in an environmentally conscious and socially responsible manner, whilst upholding good governance standards.
Our Achievements
As of December 2024, we have successfully reduced our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions by 29% from our 2017 baseline, on track towards our goal of a 35% reduction by 2030 and Net Zero by 2050.
Harnessing Renewable
Energy
We maximise renewable energy potential by leveraging on solar PV systems to power our expressways, offices and rest stops, shifting away from a traditional fossil fuel-based approach.

Accelerating Green
Mobility
We are installing more Direct Current Fast Charging (DCFC) EV charging points on our expressways, aiming for 100 DCFC units by 2025 to accelerate the nation’s low carbon mobility transition.
Adopting Energy
Efficiency
We retrofitted over 37,000 LED lights to illuminate our expressways, enhancing safety and reducing energy consumption and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions by 27,213 tCO 2 eq, equivalent to saving 1.2 million trees per year.

Pioneering Climate
Impact Adaptation
We are the nation’s first expressway operator to conduct a comprehensive climate risk assessment and deploy analytical preventive measure to mitigate the impact of climate change to our operations, customers and community around us.
Utilising Sustainable Materials
We actively utilise innovative pavement solutions such as Super Fiber Mix (SFM) with high tensile strength to enhance our pavement durability while reducing our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions

Tapping on Nature-Based Solutions
We adopt nature-based solutions through planting and maintaining over 270,000 trees and 240,000 m2 of shrubs along our highways, including preparing wildlife crossings as part of our environmental conservation effort.
Empowering a Gender-Balanced Workforce
We empower a gender-balanced workforce consisting of 47% women across our business and operations, with women occupying 40% of our senior leadership roles.

Contributing to Social Upliftment
We contributed more than RM13.5 million through social programmes and financial aid (including Zakat), benefitting over 134,000 individuals from our fence line communities.

Nurturing Local Vendors
99% of our vendors are local and we are committed to nurture them through a structured Vendor Development Program (VDP) for Micro, Small & Medium Entrepreneurs (MSMEs), providing them with the necessary tools they need to strive.
